Rightist environmentalism

This article is pretty much the sort of thing I find appealing, but it still appears to be wishful thinking when the conservative mindset is averse to attempting positive change, because its instinct is to keep things as they presently are, to avoid the necessary radicalism.

If people are planning to build housing on Green Belt land, we should remember two reasons why there’s a demand for more housing in the first place – immigration and people owning more than one home.
